PowerDVD Plugin for ATI Remote Wonder

This is an "ammo" PowerDVD plugin for the ATI Remote Wonder 1.2+ software. It has been tested only with PowerDVD XP 4.0, but it may work with other versions...

Installation

If you downloaded the plugin with installer version, just open the .exe and follow the prompts to complete the installation. Please read the Changing Button Assignments in this document to change button assignments, and if necessary how to enable the ABCDEF buttons. You do not need to perform the manual installation below.

Manual Installation

(a) If you're upgrading or re-installing...

Turn-off the Remote Wonder software so the existing plugin is not in use.

(b) Unpack...

Unzip all files to C:\Program Files\ATI Multimedia\RemCtrl\Plugins.

Right-click on the ATI Remote Wonder icon.
Click Properties.
Click Plugins.
Click Import, find ZPOWERDVD.DLL, then click Open.

Changing Button Assignments

How to open the setup window...

Right-click on the ATI Remote Wonder icon.
Find and enable "specific to the currectly active feature" --- This will allow you use the ABCDEF buttons with this plugin.
Click Properties.
Click Plugins.
Double-click on PowerDVD+ Plugin.

How to assign actions to Remote Wonder buttons...

Find the button's name, click on the Action column next to it, and then select the action from the list that pops-up.
OR, keyboard users can just push F2 or SPACE to pop-up the list of actions.

Uninstall

Turn-off Remote Wonder software temporarily so the plugin is not in use.

Go to the Windows Control Panel, Add/Remove, then double-click on PowerDVD Plugin.
OR, if you did not use the installer, just delete ZPOWERDVD.DLLl and ZPOWERDVD.INI from C:\Program Files\ATI Multimedia\RemCtrl\Plugins.

1.07	Jun 21, 2003	Changed: Newer 0-9 actions for those having problems using the 0-9 keys. Please update your button assignments for this to work.
1.06	Oct 5, 2002	Fixed: On some systems, opening the configuration window may cause a crash or lockup.
1.05	Sep 25, 2002	New actions: Mixer Volume +, Mixer Volume -, and Mixer Volume Mute. They allow direct control of Windows' master volume controls.
1.04	Jul 27, 2002	Fixed: The plugin did not work when PowerDVD is playing a file. Fixed: Portential problem when retrieving the window class name when there is no foreground window.
1.03	July 21, 2002	Volume actions now repeats. Sorry, but again you need to re-select the Volume +/- actions in the setup window to re-activate this.
1.02	Jul 20, 2002	Fixed: PowerDVD volume +/- actions were not working. You may need to re-select the Volume +/- actions in the setup window to re-activate it.
1.01	Jul 4, 2002	Removed: The need for MFC libraries. :) Fixed: Forward 5s and Rewind 5s were reversed. Fixed: Some actions that needed the Ctrl key were not properly handled. Fixed: Some remote buttons were not usable. Added: Show setup dialog action. Source code released.
